STANDARD TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF SALE
- These Terms & Conditions apply to tickets purchased for events held at Château de Londigny. By purchasing a ticket, the purchaser agrees to these Terms & Conditions on behalf of themselves and, where applicable, the other guests for whom they are purchasing tickets.
- 1. Tickets & Payment
- All tickets must be paid for in full at the time of booking. A booking is only confirmed once payment has been successfully received and confirmation has been issued.
- Tickets are valid only for the event, date and ticket category stated on the booking confirmation.
- Tickets may not be resold for commercial purposes without prior written permission from the organiser.
- 2. Refunds & Transfers
- Tickets are non-refundable, except where required by applicable French law or where the event is cancelled by the organiser.
- If you are unable to attend, you may request to transfer your ticket to another person. Any transfer must be agreed with the organiser before the event.
- Failure to attend the event does not entitle the ticket holder to a refund.
- 3. Event Changes
- The organiser reserves the right to make reasonable changes to the event programme, timings, menu, entertainment, performers, activities or other elements where circumstances require.
- Such reasonable changes do not normally constitute cancellation of the event or give an automatic right to a refund.
- 4. Event Cancellation
- If the event is cancelled by the organiser and no suitable alternative date or arrangement is offered, ticket holders will be entitled to reimbursement of the ticket price in accordance with applicable law.
- The organiser is not responsible for additional expenses incurred by guests in connection with attending the event, such as travel or accommodation, except where liability cannot legally be excluded.
- 5. Food, Menus & Allergies
- Where food is included in the ticket price, guests must notify the organiser of any allergies, intolerances or dietary requirements in advance.
- Every reasonable effort will be made to accommodate notified dietary requirements; however, guests with severe allergies should contact the organiser before purchasing or attending so that appropriate arrangements can be discussed.
- 6. Alcohol
- Alcohol will only be served or sold in accordance with French licensing laws.
- Proof of age may be requested. Alcohol will not be served to anyone under the legal drinking age or to any person whom staff reasonably believe should not be served.
- The organiser and bar staff reserve the right to refuse alcohol service where necessary.
- 7. Behaviour & Right of Admission
- Guests are expected to behave responsibly and respectfully towards other guests, staff, performers and the property.
- The organiser reserves the right to refuse admission or require a guest to leave where their behaviour is threatening, abusive, excessively intoxicated, dangerous, disruptive or likely to cause damage.
- No refund will be given where a guest is refused admission or removed for such behaviour.
- 8. Château & Restricted Areas
- Château de Londigny is a historic private property. Guests must remain within areas designated for the event and follow instructions given by staff.
- Access to private, closed, unsafe or restricted areas is strictly prohibited unless guests are accompanied by an authorised member of the Château team as part of an organised activity or tour.
- Guests are responsible for deliberate or negligent damage they cause to the Château, its contents, grounds or equipment.
- 9. VIP Tours
- Where a ticket includes an exclusive tour of areas of the Château, access may involve historic or unrestored parts of the property.
- Guests must follow the instructions of their guide at all times and must not leave the designated tour route.
- 10. Personal Belongings
- Guests remain responsible for their own possessions while attending the event.
- The organiser cannot accept responsibility for lost, stolen or damaged personal belongings except where responsibility arises under applicable law.
- 11. Photography & Filming
- Photography and filming may take place during the event for promotional and social-media purposes.
- Where identifiable individuals are the principal subject of photographs or video, their image rights will be respected in accordance with applicable law.
- Guests who do not wish to appear in promotional photography or filming should inform a member of the event team on arrival.
- 12. Safety
- Guests must comply with reasonable safety instructions issued by the organiser, Château staff, security personnel or other authorised event staff.
- Open flames, fireworks, weapons, illegal substances and other dangerous items are prohibited unless specifically authorised and professionally managed by the organiser.
- 13. Force Majeure
- The organiser will not be responsible for failure or delay in providing elements of the event caused by circumstances outside its reasonable control, subject to the rights available to consumers under applicable French law.
- Where such circumstances affect the event, the organiser will communicate any necessary changes, postponement or cancellation to ticket holders as soon as reasonably possible.
- 14. Personal Data
- Personal information collected during the booking process will be used for administering the booking, communicating important information about the event and meeting applicable legal or operational requirements.
- Personal data will be handled in accordance with applicable data-protection legislation, including the GDPR.
- 15. Applicable Law
- These Terms & Conditions and ticket purchases are governed by French law.
- Nothing in these Terms & Conditions limits any mandatory rights available to consumers under French or European consumer-protection legislation.
